When I use rsync locally (or without ssh) the log is correctly populated but when I use rsync over ssh I can only see two or three lines of log in the SSH log.
If all is working this is not a problem, off course! But when there are some problems I would need some log message from rsync.
How can have the log also when connecting from ssh tunnel?

ps: this problem with ever freenas/nas4free version.

rsync over ssh doesn't log anything
