I'm new to Nas4Free. Starting slowly, installed to thumb drive, only one hdd in system so far. Formatted UFS.
After installing the brig according to instructions at http://www.forums.nas4free.org/viewtopic.php?t=3894
the message displayed in putty leads me to believe everything is ok...
Hello new user, We will install TheBrig now
Renaming 32 bit ftp binary
Congratulations! Thebrig installed . Navigate to rudimentary config tab and push Save
I'm not sure what the rudimentary config tab is, but in the webgui I have an Extensions tab with TheBrig as the only item under it. When I click TheBrig I get this:
Warning: require_once(XML/Serializer.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/www/ext/thebrig/extensions_thebrig.php on line 10 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'XML/Serializer.php' (include_path='.:/etc/inc:/usr/local/www') in /usr/local/www/ext/thebrig/extensions_thebrig.php on line 10
I've seen this in the forum but I'm not sure if anyone solved it or not.
This is the old XigmaNAS forum in read only mode,
it will taken offline by the end of march 2021!
I like to aks Users and Admins to rewrite/take over important post from here into the new fresh main forum!
Its not possible for us to export from here and import it to the main forum!

Re: What's wrong with TheBrig
Can you copy and paste your exact commands.
I have two suggestions.
Make sure the your Jail directory exists before beginning the install
Make sure that this line from the instructions has a number at the end - probably 2

Re: What's wrong with TheBrig
Is there a good alternative to TheBrig? I'd like to play around with Plex and OurCloud. My understanding is they have to be installed in jails, is that correct?

I had the same issue but got it working by using the offline installer instead viewtopic.php?f=71&t=8871

Re: What's wrong with TheBrig
I think this is wrong. The thread is probably 9.3 but you run 10.x.Parkcomm wrote: Make sure that this line from the instructions has a number at the end - probably 2Code: Select all
/bin/sh /tmp/thebrig_install.sh /mnt/NAS-A/Jail 2
