SATA hot plug HDD

Hi.

Need help.

I've got 6 SATA on motherboard. Five of them (#1..#5) are permanent HDD. But SATA6 connected to sata internal docking station ANTEC

Is it possible to use this docking station to make quick connection of SATA HDD to my NAS ?

When I insert a HDD into docking there are something strange happens. I cannot find a way to mount this drive, and some of my permanent HDD do something strange, it look like they change their dev names.

Here is my dmesg | grep ada before I insert HDD into docking :

And I can't find my inserted HDD, there is no ada5 in system or something like.

Could anybody help me?

Well your SATA controller has to support hot swappable for one thing. Now as far as the ada's changing I don't know enough about BSD as to why that happens. I think during boot is when those ada's are assigned and they aren't necessarily static from what I have been told and drives can become different labels.
It does seem like it is your controller though causing the problem because according to your log when you plug the drive in, two drives suddenly are disconnected which shouldn't happen.

12.1.0.4 - Ingva (revision 7743) on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 11x3TB disk in 1 vdev = Vpool = 32TB Raw size , so 29TB usable size (I Have other NAS as Backup)

I want to try a labeling, which is suggested by wiki, but my /etc/fstab doesn't contain any information about data disks mounting. There is only root filesystem is mounted. If I made a labels for my HDD UFS (for example, data1, data2... data5) where should I insert these labels?
