Post by LordNiksidor »

hi, my nic (intel 82566dm(http://www.intel.com/design/network/pro ... m)(problem maybe discussed here(http://communities.intel.com/message/160908)seems to be running in 100 mode (duplex i think) for no reasion i can think of, all my network is gigabit, i was wondering if this is a problem i can fix by bypassing the auto negotiation feature somehow. i am new to nas4free so sorry if i missed somthing on another forum, if you need more info please ask. Thanks

Under Network|LAN Management|Advanced Configuration there is the Media dropdown that you should be able to select 1000baseTX and Duplex full-duplex.

I'm having a similar problem with a different Intel NIC (EXPI9301CTBLK). Interestingly enough, an unplug and replug (after initial neg. on boot) usually fixes the negotiation issue for me.
