M1015 LSI 9220 8-i Disk Spindown

Has anybody been able to get disk spindown to work on the M1015? I have set the disk standby to 5 mins and the power management to level 1 and they still won't spindown. I came across this thread http://forums.freenas.org/showthread.ph ... #post10883 that talked about having to use camcontrol stop on the disks and they provide a service and script to automate it. I tried installing the script and service, but I couldn't get it to work. Anybody know how to install the script and service and if it works for the M1015 on NAS4Free?

So far not, the script is for Freenas 8 and get some data(diskconfig...) out of freenas 8 config . (this can be adapted but iam not a Unix prof.).
So far iam just using an cronjob wich is making "camcontrol stop dax" for every disk each hour.
Not nice but working.

This script would work for every controller, maybe someone who is able to do this could adapt this to nas4free.
