Hi
Ive been working with an higher MAXPHYS(1MB) for a while.
I use it together wit modded mps Driver (maxio set to MAXPHYS) to get 1MB Blocksize working with my HP LTO-5 MSL2024 Tapeloader.
Its working great ,last Backup using Bareos 9TB of Random Data(no comp.) av. 135,8 MB/s.(real write Rate is higher since this is with tape changes...).
Ive seen that daoyama is also testing something like this.(i´ve seen a post on Freebsd Forum).
What is the state of things?
So far i make the changes by hand and compile Nas4free.
