Clones create another dataset or volume that is a replica of the parent snapshot. The new clone will consume no space until the dataset/volume starts to become different from the parent snapshot at which time it will only consume space equal to the changes made.

From this screen you can destroy clones previously made, though it looks like creating new clones is not an option currently.
