Disks|ZFS|Snapshots|Snapshot|Add

On this screen, Path is the pool, dataset, or volume to snapshot. Name is the identifier of what the snapshot is.

If Recursive is checked, it will make a snapshot of the target and any children simultaneously.

A recursive snapshot is actually individual snapshots of the target and the children individually, but with the same name. For example, a recursive snapshot of pool “dwarf” with children dwarf/blanky, dwarf/blanky-sparse, and dwarf/testy with name “test” will make snapshots dwarf@test, dwarf/blanky@test, dwarf/blanky-sparse@test, dwarf/testy@test
