Q: How do I mount my drives?
A: Before mounting a drive from another system that already contains data, you should learn how it is formatted so you will know if it should be used read/write or read-only, how many partitions it has and which one/s have your data. If you do not have this information, you will have a very hard time mounting your drive.
If you are trying to use a drive that is not UFS formatted, please read FAQ Q: Can I use an NTFS, FAT, or EXT formatted drive with XigmaNAS?
If you are trying to mount the data partition of your OS drive, the steps are explained immediately after installation, if you did not read the explanation you can find the steps in FAQ Q: How do I mount the data partition on my OS drive?. This is also a good example of how you would mount any data partition.
