Q: What can I do if FSCK cannot fix my file system and / or I get
“Bad Inode Number”,
“Bad Super Block” or
“Magic Number” errors when running FSCK?
A: These are serious errors and not easy to fix. Please read:
You can try to clear the inode with clri and hope more data is recovered with subsequent fsck.
clri /dev/raid5/RAID5p1 153794560 Before you try clri you should try: fsck -y /dev/raid5/RAID5p1 This slightly different fsck may have better luck fixing the inodes. If neither work then data recovery software is your only alternative.
